How to Book Your Hotel Accommodations at Sahara
To make your reservation, click on the link at the bottom of this page and fill in the form. Save the form on your computer (Typically by right clicking on the document and selecting "Save As"), and then attach it to an e-Mail, and send it to our e-Mail address shown below, by copying and pasting the e-Mail address below into your e-Mail program:

If you are coming to teach, do research, take a course, or have any other business with the UA, please either provide documentation to that effect or have your contact person at the UA to send us an e-mail confirming that your travel is related to your business with the University. If the University of Arizona, or some other University is going to pay for you, we would need the contact information for the person who can verify that fact.
If you are a parent coming to visit your son or daughter that lives at the Sahara, please give us his or her name.
If you are coming to UA for orientation, but your child is not staying at Sahara, please send us some documentation that shows that shows you are coming with your child for orientation at UA.
If you are coming to attend the Tucson Gem Show, please so state in your e-Mail.
We will then make your reservation, prepare an invoice, and e-mail the invoice to you. Reservations are not guaranteed until payment is received. If you are making a reservation far in advance, you would not have to make any payments until 30 days prior to your arrival, in order to guarantee your reservation.

Cancellation & refunds:
1- Your reservation is not guaranteed until we receive your payment. If you cancel your reservation more than 7 days prior to your arrival, we will give you a full refund. If you cancel within 7 days prior to your arrival, we will give you a full refund less a $10 cancellation fee.
2- If your reservation is for a particularly busy period, during which we get sold out or anticipate being sold out, and you still have not paid for your reservation, we will send you an e-Mail asking that you pay within 48 hours or we will cancel your reservation. Once you pay after receiving such notice, your payment will be non-refundable.
IF your reservation is for a particularly busy period, during which we get sold out or anticipate being sold out, and you have already paid for your reservation, we will send you an e-Mail notifying you that we want you to either cancel your reservation, or accept that your payment will become non-refundable. You will have 48 hours to respond, and if we do not hear back from you, we will cancel your reservation and refund your money.
Just to let you know, circumstances described above rarely happen. In the last 6 years we have had only two periods where we were completely sold out and could not accommodate any more hotel guests. This is due to the fact that we are not a public hotel and basically serve the needs of UA departments, and the number of hotel apartments set aside in our building for rental as hotel apartments is based on years of experience with the demand from the UA departments.
