SAHARA HOTEL RATES AND AMENITIES
FOR GEM SHOW VISITORS
Sahara Apartments is a dormitory style housing accommodation for students attending the University of Arizona and other local colleges. We also have a small 30 unit hotel section that is a private hotel catering to parents coming to visits their children who reside at the Sahara, and to all students, visiting scholars and professors, researchers and others who come to visit the UA for academic or non-academic business.
However, during the Gem Show, due to the shortage of hotel accommodations in Tucson, we open our private hotel accommodations to the general public particularly to visitors that come to Tucson to participate in the Gem Show. .
Our rates during the Gem Show are $100 per night, with a maximum of two persons allowed per room.
To make a reservation, please send us an e-mail to info@saharaapartments.com stating for each occupant the first and last names, home address, e-Mail address and the dates of arrival and departure.
We will then make a reservation for you and e-mail you your invoice. The invoice will have a link to a secure site where you can pay for your stay by credit card. All Gem Show reservations must be paid for in advance by credit card. If we do not receive your payment within 48 hours after e- mailing you the invoice we will cancel the reservation.
Our hotel accommodations consist of studio apartments, furnished with two twin sized beds, and are equipped with a small 14 inch TV offering 30 channels. There are both wired and wireless high speed internet connections in each room, and we provide maid service twice weekly, on Tuesdays and Fridays.
Because we are a student building with rules and regulations, which do not allow loud noise, parties, or carrying of open containers of alcohol, if you decide to be our guest, we request that your observe these rules.
